3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
⅛ teaspoon sesame oil
Whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic powder, onion powder, and sesame oil in a bowl until smooth. Serve in small dipping dishes.
Variations:
Teriyaki: Add 2 tablespoons brown sugar to the sauce; cook over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
Thicker glaze: Whisk 1 tablespoon cornstarch into the sauce; bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute.
